Locum Consultant Physician/Geriatrician in Older People Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team as a Locum Consultant Physician/Geriatrician in Older People Services. This is a fixed-term position that will provide an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and welcoming consultant team at the Royal London Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a proportion of patients independently on the 52-bedded acute geriatrics ward.
- Play an active role in the multi-disciplinary team and be part of the discharge planning process.
- Participate in outpatient work, liaison work, and front-door frailty pathways, depending on interest and expertise.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of services in geriatric medicine.
- MRCP or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the advisory appointments committee.
- Relevant CCT in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine or equivalent.
- Higher research degree.
- Higher teaching degree.
- Prior experience of developing and delivering services in geriatric medicine.
