Geriatrician - Consultant Physician for Older and Frail Patients

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Consultant Geriatrician to provide consultant physician service to older and frail patients at the Royal London Hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of a rolling rota providing out of hours consultant cover to Older People's wards.
This is a unique clinical academic post, and the post holder will be allocated 2.5 PAs to lead on research into ageing and frailty in older patients, working collaboratively with colleagues in the wider Trust, QMUL, and the Academic Centre for Healthy Ageing.

Person Specification- Full GMC Registration with license to practice
- Entry on the GMC Specialist register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of date of advisory appointments committee
- Relevant CCT in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine or equivalent
- Higher Research Degree
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
