Locum Consultant Physician/Geriatrician in Older People Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team as a Locum Consultant Physician/Geriatrician in Older People Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and welcoming consultant team, providing high-quality care to patients in our 52-bedded acute geriatrics ward.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a proportion of patients independently, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Play an active role in the discharge planning process, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
- Participate in outpatient work, liaison work, and front-door frailty pathways, depending on interest and expertise.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of services in geriatric medicine, working collaboratively with colleagues to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
- Established career and training pathway within the NHS, with a strong background in geriatric medicine.
- Higher specialist training in Older People Services and General Internal Medicine.
- Broad experience in Older People Services and General Internal Medicine, with a strong understanding of modern medical curricula and commitment to life-long learning.
