Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Executive Sales Director for our client, a leading manufacturing solutions provider. This position offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious sales leader to progress towards a future Managing Director role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies aimed at driving growth, profitability, and market expansion through strategic partnerships and market analysis.
  • Establish and pursue both long-term and short-term objectives aligned with the company's overall goals, leveraging market research and customer insights.
  • Provide visionary leadership, setting a clear strategic direction for the company and motivating executives and managers to achieve high-performance results.
  • Streamline and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and financial health, leveraging process improvement techniques.
  • Create and refine reporting tools for effective performance tracking and analysis, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Oversee budgeting processes to ensure robust financial management and strategic resource allocation.
  • Leverage market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands, informing business development strategies.
  • Lead and motivate executives and managers to foster a high-performance culture and drive business growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry experts and stakeholders, elevating the company's public profile through networking and external engagements.
  • Manage all aspects of the business both in the UK and internationally, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships are maintained.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing.
  • Proven success in a truly international sales role, with a track record of driving business growth and market expansion.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of component production and solution environments.
  • Strong skills in strategic marketing and business growth, with a track record of engaging new and existing clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and market expansion through effective strategic planning and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and business networking.
  • Proven ability to manage and thrive in complex business environments.
