Join Our Team as an Activities Coordinator

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator at Penrose Court Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and enjoyable experiences.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and our care team to ensure a seamless and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with our care team to identify and address the individual needs of our residents.
  • Plan and deliver activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.50.
  • A contracted 20 hours per week, providing a great work-life balance.
  • A comprehensive pension scheme.
  • 5.6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata).
  • Uniform and DBS paid.
  • Onsite parking.

Requirements:

  • Experience in care or activities roles.
  • Ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
