We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Penrose Court Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and meaningful activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and our care team to ensure a person-centered approach
- Collaborate with our care team to identify and address the individual needs of our residents
- Plan and deliver activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our activity programs and make recommendations for improvement
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.50
- A contracted 20 hours per week, providing a great work-life balance
- A comprehensive pension scheme
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)

Requirements:
- Experience working in care or an activities role
- Ability to build rapport with residents and their families
