About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator at Penrose Court Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and our care team to ensure a person-centred approach
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that promote social interaction, stimulation, and enjoyment
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.50
  • A contracted 20 hours per week, providing a great work-life balance
  • A comprehensive pension scheme
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)

Requirements:

  • Experience in care or activities roles, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
