Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative manager to join our team as an Associate Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your existing senior operational experience and contribute to the development of our services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager and lead complex services in Trauma - Orthopaedics, Major Trauma, and Adult Critical Care.
  • Work alongside clinicians and senior nurses to develop and implement service improvement projects.
  • Manage and lead teams to ensure the delivery of key targets within budgeted resources.
  • Contribute to strategic and annual business planning for the business unit.
  • Lead clinical governance processes and assist in the management of risk.

  • Experience in senior operational management within a clinical area.
  • Knowledge of inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic requirements of pathways.
  • Proven experience in improvement and service transformation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an organised manner and to high standards.
