Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and delivering exceptional service to customers within the branch, supporting the delivery of team key performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring service level delivery and maintaining adequate resources within the team.
  2. Monitor team renewal, new business, and task progress daily, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements.
  3. Lead and develop the team to achieve KPI targets, including new business, renewals, and placement strategy.
  4. Work closely with senior managers to implement change and deliver agreed business benefits.
  5. Present monthly results to the team and provide feedback to senior management.
  6. Provide broking solutions and support to handlers when required.
  7. Effectively communicate and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Coach team members to deliver improved service to customers.

Requirements:

  1. Achieve a minimum of Certificate in Insurance status within two years of joining.
  2. Minimum of 12 months experience in the insurance/broking sector.

  6. Ability to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of company processes and business goals.
  7. Recognises the importance of self-development and ensures all learning and development modules are up to date.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Broking skills and detailed knowledge of the core range of policies.
  2. Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
  3. Knowledge and use of insurer products and solutions.
  4. Ability to quickly develop knowledge of operating structures, processes, and objectives of the client's business.
  5. Good working knowledge of specialist operations (e.g., sub-contracting).
  6. Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service; strong time management.
  7. Up to date with insurance industry developments and regulatory changes.
  8. Use of account management systems and Microsoft Office.
  9. Previous experience of Acturis is desired.
