Service Manager Mental Health Social Care Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to lead the delivery of social care in our Integrated Mental Health Service at Wokingham Borough Council.

The Role:

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of social care, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and providing high-quality support to meet performance requirements.

Social care will introduce a dedicated social care pathway, while our health care partners will provide health care under the One Team and care pathways model of care delivery.

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated mental health professional with managerial experience, who is excited to lead and shape the service in line with our new service model.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Care Act, and Human Rights legislation
  • Experience in working with adults with severe mental illness
  • Managerial experience, or experience leading improvement or change projects
Benefits:
