About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Dedicated Support Officer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all staff, visitors, and contractors in a professional and personable manner.
  • Deliver a consistently high-end customer-focused experience by providing excellent service and support.
  • Respond appropriately to varying and fast-changing priorities, ensuring the smooth operation of our security services.
  • Prevent and deter unauthorized access to our clients' premises, maintaining the highest levels of security and vigilance.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their assets.
  • Conduct internal and external patrols and duties, maintaining a high level of visibility and awareness.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conducting effective handover procedures.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
  • Ensure any equipment provided by the client and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
  • Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.
Essential Skills
  • SIA Licence (Desirable but not essential as the right training can be given)
  • CCTV Licence (Desirable but not essential as the right training can be given)
  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history.
  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
  • Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in the Security Industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Works on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to practice our values of Integrity, Helpfulness, and Vigilance
  • Hard working and organized
