About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide polite, professional, and friendly service to customers, clients, and colleagues at all times.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care is maintained at all times.
  • Be familiar with the location of the lounge, facilities, and access policies to advise passengers.
  • Acknowledge and orientate all incoming guests, prioritizing Class over status.
  • Handle customers involved in any irregular operations in conjunction with SIA representatives.
  • Manage and maintain stock of magazines and newspapers, ensuring they are current or up to date.
  • Be familiar with basic PC/Internet troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure customer complaints are promptly dealt with and action taken to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Acquire a good knowledge of all products to advise individual clients/customers on their product choice.
  • Actively aid customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager.
  • Take and pass on messages accurately to ensure excellent communication across all disciplines.
  • Look out for opportunities to develop our service.
  • Be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner, including assisting with other duties as required.
  • Be prepared to attend all related training sessions and meetings.
  • Cover other reception areas within the building if required.
  • Assist the team and build a professional relationship with them.
  • Ensure awareness of, meet, and cooperate with management regarding legal and company requirements.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and others who may be affected by your actions or inactions.
  • Ensure all machinery is in safe working condition.
  • Monitor and complete logged Facilitator jobs within reception areas of responsibility.
  • Look out for passengers in the lounges who are late for their flight.
  • Handle customers involved in any irregular operations in conjunction with SIA representatives.
  • Have a positive and lasting relationship with all customers and clients.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and behave appropriately.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience working in a reception role.
  • The ability to prioritize and have an eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.
  • The ability to demonstrate great teamwork.
  • The ability to follow instructions.
