Director of Summer School Program

Compensation: $14.72-$16.04 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Status: Full time, 40 hours during the school year, summer lay off

Job Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership: Responsible for the supervision of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Lesson Planning and Implementation: Prepare and conduct weekly lesson plans, aligning with educational standards and regulations.

Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth.

Compliance and Regulatory Management: Maintain compliance with all related regulations, ensuring the program meets or exceeds standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of experience working directly with children ages 0-5; or
  • Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and two years of experience working directly with children ages 0-5.
