Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our program development team. This role entails ensuring operational excellence across multiple residential summer schools in the region, including various international locations. Your primary focus will be the successful execution of these programs during the summer months, which may involve travel to respective program sites.

Your effectiveness will be evaluated based on meeting established project timelines and ensuring seamless program operations throughout the summer. You must be adaptable and capable of addressing last-minute changes or emergencies with composure and efficiency.

As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure that all external collaborators uphold the same high standards of service as Immerse Education. You will work closely with colleagues from different departments and maintain positive, professional relationships with our partner institutions and suppliers.

We are looking for a driven and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic. During peak operational periods, you will be on call for your summer schools and must be ready to provide a high level of management support outside regular hours. The ideal candidate will have a background in the education sector, preferably with experience in operations, and an understanding of the challenges inherent in the summer school environment, capable of making critical decisions under pressure. Experience working in the APAC region and with local educational institutions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute all operational aspects of residential courses in the APAC region.
  • Support the overall commercial success of the courses.
  • Pre-arrange all cultural and social activities.
  • Assist college managers during the operational phase.
  • Support the pastoral team with safeguarding and pastoral inquiries.
  • Ensure student satisfaction with the program exceeds expectations.
  • Assist with inquiries from student services and the sales team as needed.
  • Ensure timely provision of materials necessary for effective program delivery.
  • Assist in coordinating airport transfers.
  • Support operational delivery in additional areas as assigned.
  • Be available on-call throughout the summer delivery period.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic or operational role.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the summer school sector.
  • Familiarity with the educational landscape in Singapore and Australia.
  • Experience in an operational, academic, or program management capacity.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary along with a discretionary performance-based bonus.
  • A variety of people-first benefits and experiences.
  • Flexible hybrid work arrangements in a dynamic, supportive environment.
  • An opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives globally while advancing your professional career in a rapidly growing educational organization.

If you resonate with our mission and values, we would be eager to learn about your enthusiasm for this role and for Immerse Education.

As part of our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace, we offer diverse opportunities for career growth as we collectively work towards our mission. We take a thoughtful, long-term approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion, striving to cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive and develop.
