Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Coach to join our team at Babington. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to learners, helping them achieve their learning goals and develop their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans and SMART targets to support learners in achieving their goals
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to learners, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge and achieve their learning objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with learners and employers, providing pastoral support and guidance as needed
  • Deliver high-quality teaching, training, and development opportunities to adults, using a range of digital technologies and experiences
  • Work closely with employers and external agencies to ensure that learners receive the support and guidance they need to succeed
  • Manage workload, time, and resources effectively, achieving deadlines and delivering to agreed targets
  • Establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people, including learners, employers, and colleagues
  • Inspire and facilitate learning, using a range of techniques and approaches to engage and motivate learners

Requirements

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 5 CIPD Human Resources qualification
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or willingness to acquire
  • Experience of developing individualized learning plans and SMART targets
  • Coaching to embed behavioural change experience
  • Experience in using digital technologies and experiences to deliver learning
  • Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies
  • Experience of providing interactive and engaging teaching, training, and development opportunities to adults
  • Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision
  • Experience of working in an accredited environment, industry, or practice
  • Ability to manage workload, time, and resources effectively and achieve deadlines
  • Ability to deliver to agreed targets
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to inspire and facilitate learning
  • Ability to manage workload, time and resources effectively
  • Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure, managing themselves appropriately
  • Meets a consistent level of delivery against core role objectives
  • Reacts positively for requests to help and offer to support when colleagues are under pressure
  • Respects others' views and ideas, demonstrates empathy to understand the position of others
  • Understands the value of the customer relationship, treating each customer as an individual
  • Hold a driving license with access to a vehicle or have the ability to travel
