IT Support Engineer - Banbury

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team at Jiyu Consulting Ltd in Banbury. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions on various platforms.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technology projects and IT infrastructure improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and tools.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in supporting Microsoft Office 365 and related applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
