We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Product Manager at Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited. This role is pivotal in overseeing specific product lines, ensuring the successful execution of marketing strategies aimed at maximizing revenue, profit margins, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume overall accountability for the performance of designated product categories.
  • Develop and implement annual and mid-term product category strategies, which include market research, product range planning, pricing strategies, and target market segmentation.
  • Formulate marketing strategies for targeted demographics, pinpointing critical timelines, messaging, and promotional activities to enhance sales.
  • Evaluate sales and profit performance of product categories to provide actionable insights for product, promotion, and marketing strategies.
  • Initiate and manage market research initiatives.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior management, emphasizing key challenges and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and execute launch strategies for new products and categories.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with the Marketing Communications team and broader marketing department.
  • Maintain effective partnerships with sales management and teams.
  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis, focusing on pricing, product offerings, and distribution channels.
  • Act as the product advocate, nurturing relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee product information management for the UK market, which includes:

Coordinating certification requests, images, and instructions for future reference.
* Justifying requests for special pricing during promotional events.
* Approving UK-specific product packaging.
* Collaborating with the Professional Support Team and European Product Management to address product-related issues and customer complaints.
* Developing presentations and product training materials in conjunction with the Training Specialist.

  • Become the go-to expert for competitor insights and activities related to the product range, conducting both desk and field research.
  • Lead the creation of product copy and content for external marketing materials.
  • Enhance sales and profitability of both new and existing products through effective marketing, sales training, inventory management, pricing strategies, and other product management activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to produce promotional and sales literature.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing or Business is preferred.
  • Experience in product management and marketing within a dynamic business environment.
  • A strong interest in product management and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical, confident, organized, and methodical approach.
