This full-time, permanent role involves overseeing designated product lines, ensuring the successful execution of product and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, profit margins, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assuming overall accountability for the performance of assigned product categories.
  • Formulating and executing annual and mid-term product category strategies, including market research, range planning, pricing, promotional strategies, and customer segmentation.
  • Developing targeted marketing strategies for specific customer segments, pinpointing critical timelines, messaging, and promotional activities to enhance sales.
  • Evaluating sales and margin data for the assigned product categories to inform product, promotional, and marketing decisions.
  • Initiating and conducting market research initiatives.
  • Providing monthly performance reports to senior management, emphasizing key challenges and recommendations for improvement.
  • Crafting and implementing launch strategies for new products and categories.
  • Fostering strong collaborative relationships with the Marketing Communications team and broader marketing department.
  • Maintaining excellent partnerships with sales management and teams.
  • Conducting thorough competitor analysis, focusing on pricing, product offerings, and distribution channels.
  • Acting as the product champion, nurturing relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing relationships with key partners to facilitate their understanding of the UK market while obtaining timely insights.
  • Overseeing all product information for the UK market, including:

Requesting necessary certifications, images, and instructions, and maintaining a centralized repository for future reference.
* Justifying requests for special pricing for promotional initiatives.
* Approving UK-specific product packaging.
* Collaborating with the Professional Support Team in the UK and Product Management in Europe to address product-related issues and customer complaints.
* Creating presentations, conducting product training (in partnership with the Training Specialist), and developing product information.

  • Becoming the go-to expert for competitor insights and activities related to the assigned product range, conducting both desk and field research.
  • Leading the development and creation of all product-related content for external marketing materials.
  • Driving sales and profitability for both new and existing products through effective marketing, sales training, inventory management, pricing strategies, and other product management initiatives.
  • Collaborating with marketing colleagues to produce promotional and sales literature.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing or Business (preferred).
  • Experience in product management and marketing within a dynamic business environment.
  • A strong interest in product management and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical, confident, structured, and methodical approach.
