About the Role

The Financial Performance Specialist will be responsible for driving financial performance and delivering results within the Finance and Accounting Department at CMS UK.

This is a hands-on role, covering an ever-expanding range of responsibilities, including:

  • Attending monthly financial meetings with senior stakeholders to discuss financial performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Providing senior stakeholders with detailed financial reports, using financial analysis tools to accurately report financial progress
  • Handling and resolving financial queries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Assisting with financial planning and budgeting activities, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Dealing with various financial-related queries and providing financial guidance to stakeholders
  • Assisting the Team Leader with financial reporting and analysis using financial software
  • Maintaining professional financial standards and knowledge, including UK financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Assisting in the financial planning and budgeting process as required
  • Tracking financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Performance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a financial role, preferably in a law firm or similar industry
  • Experience in financial analysis and reporting, including financial software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues
  • Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
