Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead high-level, proactive key accounts and plan, support, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for all agency services and outputs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and growing large accounts in a digital/comms agency environment and have a strong awareness and aptitude for marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Add value to clients while developing existing and new multi-point opportunities within key accounts.
  • Solution Development: Develop compelling solutions for clients that utilize the agency's key services, focusing on sustainable account growth and demonstrating a solid understanding of clients' marketing needs, brands, competitors, and challenges.
  • Project Management: Work seamlessly with the wider client services team to proactively manage and execute client projects and campaigns. Confidently deliver a wide range of projects, including advertising, promotional and sales materials, training kits, websites, video and animation, and email.
  • Relationship Building: Develop effective relationships with clients and external partners as well as the internal creative, digital, and account management teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects on time and to budget, while ensuring a profitable return.
  • Profit/Loss/Growth: Retain overall responsibility for the profit/loss/growth achieved within key accounts.
  • Client Retention: Ensure the delivery of high-quality work and service to encourage long-term client retention.

Requirements:

  • Education: Education to graduate/degree standard in a related discipline.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience managing and growing large accounts in a digital/comms agency environment.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail for proofing, deadlines, and estimating. A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. A strong awareness and aptitude for marketing. High standard of oral and written English and excellent communication skills. Excellent presentation skills, comfortable with client pitches. Good financial/commercial awareness. Computer literacy with main MS Office software.
