Brownlee Cale, a leading player in the Food and Meat Processing sector, is seeking to appoint a skilled HR Administrator during a period of significant growth and development.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Facilitate the recruitment process including manpower planning, crafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating with management for final interviews.
  • Cost Efficiency: Enhance the hiring process by improving cost management and reducing turnaround times.
  • Induction Process Review: Evaluate and refine the induction procedures for both internal hires and agency staff.
  • Administration of Starters and Leavers: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, including probation monitoring and conducting exit interviews.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to develop training programs and maintain training records, including the creation of training agreements.
  • HRMS and Software Management: Administer compliance management systems and maintain accurate records across HR platforms.
  • Operational Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for staff inquiries, ensuring familiarity with current HR procedures and company policies.
  • Attendance Management: Manage attendance records and ensure accurate reporting to the payroll team, including the oversight of absence and holiday data.
  • Data Protection Compliance: Ensure that all HR systems adhere to data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality.
  • Reporting: Compile HR information for monthly management reports and maintain accurate records of employee hours and pay.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in recruitment or HR, with a preference for experience in UK Employee Relations.

Salary: Approximately £25,000, dependent on experience.
