Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Facilitate the recruitment process by planning manpower needs, crafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating final interviews with management.
  • Enhancing Hiring Efficiency: Focus on improving hiring costs and reducing turnaround times.
  • Induction Process Management: Review and enhance the induction process for both internal staff and agency hires.
  • Administration of Employment Changes: Oversee the management of new starters and leavers, including monitoring probation periods and conducting exit interviews.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to develop training programs and maintain training records, including the creation of training agreements as necessary.
  • HR Management Systems: Administer compliance management and maintain operational HR software.
  • Operational Support: Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries, reporting directly to the HR manager.
  • Policy and Procedure Knowledge: Stay informed about current HR procedures and company policies.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage the SMETA audit process and review development periodically.
  • Attendance Management: Ensure accurate attendance records are maintained and provide necessary information to the payroll team.
  • Data Management: Maintain a master database of all employees, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation.
  • Reporting: Compile HR information for monthly management reports.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in recruitment or HR, with a preference for experience in UK Employee Relations.

Salary: Approximately £25,000, depending on experience.
