The HR Manager operates on-site but is also part of a broader, experienced HR network across the UK.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
The primary objective of this role is to serve as a genuine HR Business Partner to the operational leadership team, ensuring the delivery of a robust HR service that aligns with both site and divisional goals.
The HR Manager and their team will be responsible for the effective day-to-day execution of professional HR services.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and support the site HR team effectively.
- Coach and guide managers on HR best practices while fostering leadership development and self-awareness.
- Oversee employee performance management to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations across the site.
- Manage the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of necessary skills and experience through strategic talent management and a comprehensive induction program.
- Continuously seek improvements in employee engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee the budget for Training and Development.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior HR role with site responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence in working alongside an operational leadership team.
- Proven track record as a strong HR leader and effective manager of HR team members.
- Sound business acumen and a genuine interest in site operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (blue/white collar).
- Exposure to a broad HR role, engaging in various key HR functions.
- Prior experience in a leading site HR role within a global organization.
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Experience in a KPI-driven organization, with a background in data analysis and trend identification.
- A proactive attitude, bringing energy and ideas to the team.
