Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Sales Manager to join our team at ST Selection. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales executives, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of 6-12 sales executives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Implement and coordinate new starter inductions and probation sign-off processes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assist with the recruitment of direct sales executives, ensuring the right candidates are selected for the role.
- Identify training requirements and arrange coaching and support to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Champion new products and services, ensuring the team is adequately trained and equipped to sell them effectively.
- Review and sign-off new account requests, ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Monitor and manage performance, ensuring individuals are meeting their KPIs and targets.
- Responsible for one-on-one monthly reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Monitor Salesforce to ensure accuracy and compliance, including contribution reports.
- Monitor the handover process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Report on lead campaign feedback, including lost or down traders.
- Responsible for holding disciplinary hearings and dealing with HR issues.
- Resolve payroll issues and submit payroll before the cut-off date.
- Review and authorise credit requests.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar sales management environment.
- Experience in supervising or managing a team, with the ability to engage, motivate, and lead others.
- Ability to thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively handle challenging conversations and complaints/escalations.
- Experience of managing people through HR processes.
- Able to analyse data, identify errors, and rectify any issues.
- Able to demonstrate passion, respect, and honest qualities.
