Early Careers Advisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Early Careers Advisor to join our team at Career Legal, a leading Recruitment Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruitment of trainee solicitors and vacation placement students for our client, a prestigious Law Firm in London.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a multi-channel attraction strategy to attract top talent to the firm's early careers opportunities and programmes.
  • Attend marketing events, including careers fairs, pop-up stands, virtual events, and open days, to promote the firm's early careers opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development team to create engaging content for shared media channels, such as LinkedIn.
  • Manage the firm's early careers digital footprint, ensuring consistency with the employer brand.
  • Lead the recruitment process for aspiring trainee solicitors and solicitor apprentices, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and organizing assessment centres.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for candidate queries and manage onboarding for vacation schemes and in-person work experience opportunities.
  • Develop and grow a pipeline of future trainee solicitors through the Scholarship programme, with workshops, skills sessions, networking opportunities, and mentoring.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in graduate recruitment, ideally within a Law Firm or Professional Services environment.
  • Understanding of the UK legal education system and SQE requirements and regulations.
  • Desirable to have an understanding of hiring apprenticeships.
