We're seeking a Chief People and Culture Officer to join our leadership team and help us achieve this mission. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our company culture and ensuring we continue to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic People Leadership

  • Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to our business goals and objectives.
  • Lead, grow, and develop our people team to ensure we have the right talent in place to drive our business forward.
  • Own the people budget and ensure we're making the most effective use of our investment.
  • Define our Employee Experience and develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that deliver on it.

Talent Acquisition and Management

  • Oversee our talent acquisition function to ensure we're attracting and retaining exceptional people.
  • Implement strategies for attracting and retaining top talent, including hiring processes that ensure new starters meet our core business needs.

Employee Engagement and Development

  • Lead the design and implementation of development and training programs to ensure we're developing our team at all levels.
  • Foster career growth and advancement opportunities to ensure our employees feel valued and motivated.
  • Measure employee engagement to identify areas for improvement and optimize our employee experience.

Performance Management

  • Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process to ensure we're recognizing and rewarding our top performers.
  • Drive a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement to ensure our employees are always striving to be their best.
  • Implement a rewards and recognition program that aligns with our company values and recognizes our employees' contributions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Implement a pay review process that aligns with our company values and ensures we're competitive in the market.
  • Design salary benchmarking, compensation programs, and benefits that recognize our employees' value to the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

  • Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all aspects of our business.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Promote effective employee relations and conflict resolution to ensure our employees feel valued and supported.
  • Ensure our HR policies and practices are in compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Requirements

  • Extensive people and culture leadership experience in a fast-growing SaaS business.
  • Proven ability to define and lead a best-in-class Employee Experience.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop those skills in others.
  • Experience in building and owning people strategies from the ground up and right-sizing for our stage of growth.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £135k (FTE).
  • A part-time role (3 days a week) that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
