About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mess Administrator to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our mess facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure that inventories, statistical reports, and all daily paper and computer work are completed accurately and within given deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Provide a high standard of customer service to our members and visitors.
  • Financial Management: Supervise the production and distribution of mess bills in line with contractual obligations, and brief all joiners of charges applicable to them on arrival.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Present a detailed breakdown of accounts, including an income and expenditure statement, of the mess general fund and all subsidiary funds at the mess committee meetings.
  • Staff Support: Pay authorized staff voucher payments and advise the appropriate personnel on general administrative matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Good numeracy and communication skills, good financial awareness, and good PC skills especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience: Previous admin and/or accounting experience is required.
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in the UK 5 years or more in order to pass security checks.
