We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Imaging Directorate as an Apprentice Radiographer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as part of the Plain Film X-ray team, undertaking clinical shifts and supporting the multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside qualified Radiographers, supporting patient pathways and liaising with the wider MDT.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Gain extensive workplace learning and practice in Imaging, supported by academic learning within Keele University.
- Work as part of the 7-day service at Royal Stoke, County Hospital, and peripheral sites.
- Support the Imaging Department Assistants and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake any formal or informal study and training required to fulfill the needs of the post.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualities:
- Grade C or 4 or equivalent Maths and English.
- A-Level or BTEC or Equivalent qualifications.
- Clinical experience in an Imaging department or other healthcare environment.
- Public facing role.
- Ability to work as part of the 7-day service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, able to cope with demanding and difficult situations.
