Job Title: Assistant RDC Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant RDC Manager to join our dynamic team at Alliance Automotive Group.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our RDC operations, drive sales and profitability, and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, stock movements, and staff performance, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Analyze RDC sales and profit performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize growth.
  • Customer Service Management: Build and maintain positive customer relationships, resolve queries and issues, and process customer returns and warranties efficiently.
  • Asset Management: Manage warehouse layout, stock movements, and inventory levels, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
  • People Management: Lead on recruitment and selection, oversee staff induction, manage performance, and identify staff development needs.
  • Communication: Respond to regional management requests, attend review meetings, and communicate performance and change information to branch staff.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, conduct regular inspections, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Flexible working pattern to ensure efficient trading.
  • Occasional out-of-hours travel requirements.
  • Occasional overnight accommodation.
  • Ability to drive Non-HGV delivery vehicle on occasion.
  • Ability to lift/carry/handle goods up to 25 kg on occasion.
