About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and adoption of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs and drivers, and providing strategic guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  2. Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical skills to solve complex support issues and technical challenges, and provide advocacy for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
  3. Operational Parameters and Troubleshooting: Understand operational parameters and troubleshooting processes for customer issues and escalations, and ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and driving efficiencies.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with customers across all levels, from developers to C-Suite executives, and collaborate with multiple functions within AWS, such as Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Account Managers.

Requirements
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three or more of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience in technical engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
