Nurse Assessor - Hybrid Role

Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled Nurse Assessor to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands, England. As a Nurse Assessor, you will play a vital role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalised, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR) for a diverse range of health conditions and disabilities.
  2. Manage caseloads from end to end, including breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
  2. Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
What We Offer:
  • Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500.
  • 5% retention bonus.
  • Rising to 10% quality & retention bonus.
  • Hybrid Full time, Part time working hours available.
  • Training options: 12 weeks (full time), 14 weeks (4 days per week) & 17 weeks (3 days per week).
  • 25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
