Children's Social Worker

We are partnering with North Yorkshire Council to recruit a Qualified Children's Social Worker for their Duty & Assessment Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize cases allocated by the line manager
- Assess children and family needs, making recommendations for services to achieve agreed outcomes
- Participate in case allocation and accept cases allocated by the team
- Liaise with other professionals to fulfill statutory duties and achieve best outcomes for children
- Engage in supervision and performance appraisal
- Maintain accurate case records and write reports in line with departmental standards
- Provide evidence in court proceedings
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration
- 2 years post-qualifying experience in the UK
- Eligibility to work in the UK
