About the Role
Achieving for Children is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker in this team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with significant and profound disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities, identifying areas where specialist intervention is required.
- Develop and implement care plans to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
- Work closely with health, education, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children and young people.
- Visit children and young people in their homes, schools, and communities, using suitable methods to engage with them.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Social Work qualification and experience working with children and young people with disabilities.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
