Social Work Manager

Hunter Mental Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Social Worker to join their team in Richmond. This is a 3-month ongoing locum position, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a start date in October 2024.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage service delivery for vulnerable children and young people, with a focus on adolescents within the statutory framework.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
- Lead a team of case workers in delivering social work services to adolescents and their families, with a focus on contextual safeguarding issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective recording, monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance of interventions.
- Use data and intelligence to inform decision-making and drive service improvement.
- 2 years post-AYSE experience as a Registered Social Worker.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and safeguarding principles, including legislation and policy.
- Proven ability to manage high levels of risk and complexity in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
