About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker in this team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with significant and profound disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities and develop plans to meet their needs.
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Conduct home visits, school visits, and community visits to assess the needs of children and young people.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that children and young people receive the support they need.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Social Work qualification and experience working with children and young people with disabilities.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
