About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to join our team at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Director, you will play a key role in leading our out of hospital care services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Division, aligning with the Trust's overall strategy.
    • Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure effective delivery of patient care, teaching, and research within the Division.
  • Operational Management
    • Ensure the effective implementation of Trust policies, procedures, and standards within the Division.
    • Represent the Division at operational interfaces, providing clinical expertise and governance.
  • Clinical Governance
    • Lead the integration of operational management with clinical governance, participating in Clinical Governance committees and the Divisional Management Board.
    • Ensure Divisional compliance with national requirements, including Care Quality Commission Registration.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Medically qualified with a post-registration qualification and current membership of the GMC.
  • Experience in managing clinical services and knowledge of clinical governance.
  • A personal vision for the future of clinical services, developed in the context of credible past experience, personal beliefs, and the Trust's strategy.
  • Demonstrable evidence of being able and willing to understand our Trust values of respect, kindness, excellence, and safety, with behavior that reinforces these values.
