About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with our HR Administrator to ensure all recruitment, onboarding, and staff procedures are compliant and administered across both offices.
  • Legislative Updates: Advise the HR Partners of changes to legislation and regulations, and ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Employee Support: Provide a listening ear for staff and advise senior managers and leadership team of employee-related matters.
  • Recruitment Agency Management: Negotiate terms with recruitment agencies, keep records of agreed terms, and update these when required.
  • Interviews and Performance Management: Assist with and conduct interviews for new staff, develop and manage performance management processes, and ensure reviews and appraisals are carried out on time.
  • Role Descriptions and Development: Maintain role descriptions across each discipline within the firm, ensuring a clear route for progression within each department.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement regular employee engagement surveys and maintain and develop our student training and mentoring program.
  • HR Meetings and Reporting: Attend monthly HR meetings, prepare People Report for Partners' meetings, and liaise with our external HR Advisor when required.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience working in an HR role, with experience of supervising or managing a small team.
  • Qualifications: Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
  • Skills: Confident using software tools such as Microsoft Office, HR software, and other self-serve websites.
  • Education: A graduate with a degree in business, HR, or management, or equivalent experience/qualifications.
  • Communication: Articulate and able to demonstrate good written and oral communication.
  • Teamwork: Willing to work across both our offices in Dunfermline and Edinburgh.
What We Offer
  • Salary: A salary range between £35,000pa to £40,000pa DOE.
  • Work Environment: Opportunity to work in a vibrant office in Dunfermline (office-based).
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Edinburgh.
