Job Title: Senior Data Governance Specialist

Location: Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available

Salary: Up to £44,910 depending on skills and experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our Product Data & Configuration team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing senior subject matter expertise to the management team, with regards to Data Quality & Governance functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues within the programmes product data
  • Develop requirements and identify potential or current data quality issues
  • Provide weekly data quality reports
  • Support and coordinate the running of the programmes Data Quality Governance Board and associated Working Groups and Data Steward Communities of Interest
  • Develop and deliver data quality processes and training to the programme engineering community

Requirements:

  • Experience of Data Quality Management/Governance in a similar sized organisation
  • Understanding of the Engineering Lifecycle to bring a product to market
  • Exposure to PLM, CAD and ERM systems
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in Data Management, Data Requirements Capture, and Documentation
  • Previous use of Data Governance tools
  • Prior involvement in complex engineering projects

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an international programme for the Canadian River Class Destroyer. You will be part of a team that will allow you to gain exposure and build your network within the business. You will be working across a range of teams within the entire programme, with frequent interaction with the customer to ensure the project is delivered.
