About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Senior Subject Matter Expertise: Offer guidance and support to our management team on data quality and governance matters.
  • Investigate Data Quality Issues: Lead investigations to identify the root cause of data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop Requirements and Identify Issues: Develop requirements and identify potential or current data quality issues to ensure our data meets the required standards.
  • Support Data Governance Board: Collaborate with the Data Quality Governance Board and associated working groups to ensure effective data governance practices.
  • Develop and Deliver Training: Design and deliver training programs to educate our engineering community on data quality processes and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience in Data Quality Management: Proven experience in data quality management and governance in a similar-sized organization.
  • Understanding of Engineering Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle and its application to product development.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with PLM, CAD, and ERM systems, as well as data governance tools.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex data governance concepts effectively.
