The Role: Workshop Controller
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at our Audi dealership. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy service department, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of qualified technicians and apprentices.
- Allocate work orders efficiently and effectively, managing technician schedules and timekeeping.
- Maintain high standards of quality by conducting regular inspections of completed work and ensuring adherence to brand specifications.
- Drive service profitability by optimizing technician utilization and promoting upselling opportunities.
- Manage and update workshop systems, including eVHC software and service booking databases.
- Provide outstanding customer service to service customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Advisor team to ensure seamless customer experience.
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Workshop Controller within a franchised dealership environment. You will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. A professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential.
