In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Head of Product Marketing, focusing on crafting persuasive, data-driven propositions for newly acquired business opportunities. You will also be responsible for designing and executing highly targeted Go-To-Market (GTM) campaigns across various core channels to support key commercial objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the marketing liaison for new partners, advocating for the brand from initial outreach through to the post-launch phase.
- Collaborating with the Product Development team to create market-oriented propositions, positioning, and GTM strategies for all major product categories.
In this position, you will work closely with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including potential partners, product teams, sales, and marketing colleagues, as well as partner acquisition team members.
Utilizing customer insights, you will define the product brand strategy, proposition, positioning, and market segmentation priorities for new business and product opportunities.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Clearly articulating the product value proposition tailored to different customer segments through engaging, effective, and compliant messaging across all marketing channels.
- Leading the development of annual product marketing plans based on market insights and customer data to meet or exceed business objectives and achieve the overarching business vision.
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, as well as new product innovations or extensions to maximize commercial return on investment and enhance student enrollment.
- Championing our products and customers while continuously seeking to enhance the customer experience.
- Utilizing data analytics and student insights to inform creative strategies and messaging.
- Managing the marketing relationship with new university partners, ensuring consistent communication with key stakeholders.
- Driving engagement through the customer journey, from awareness to conversion, by developing tactics, content, and design that resonate at each stage.
- Overseeing the execution of integrated product marketing campaigns across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand promises and business targets.
- Coordinating the creation and implementation of marketing and sales enablement materials, ensuring that return on investment is defined and measured for each initiative.
- Ensuring that in-market sales strategies and GTM plans are fully aligned with the product marketing strategy and annual marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing higher education products or programs, preferably within the international higher education sector.
- Strong background in product marketing, with a focus on developing customer-centric, compelling value propositions.
- Expertise in product, brand, and digital marketing within both B2B and B2C environments.
- A solid understanding of what constitutes an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent collaboration, strategic planning, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements.
