We are seeking a highly skilled Global Ecommerce Trading Executive to join our team at Barbour. As a key member of our ecommerce department, you will play a crucial role in driving global sales and trading operations within our framework of brands.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a clear merchandising strategy, driven by core retail KPIs and trading analytics, to maximize global sales.
- Coordinate the visual display of all brands and products across international websites.
- Continuously evaluate the online customer journey to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Senior Global Ecommerce Trading Manager with global revenue forecast and reforecast.
- Work closely with the ecommerce team on the global personalization strategy.
- Collaborate with digital agencies to ensure all paid marketing activity is commercially driven and accurate against the trade calendar.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with B&M, marketing, and content teams to ensure productivity is maximized.
- Report on weekly KPIs and identify risks/opportunities for improvement.
- Support with assortment planning for ecommerce and agree plans with the wider business.
- Work with the core B&M team to ensure digital is front of mind and influence in-season trading for assigned product areas.
- Lead monthly digital meetings with B&M to provide insight into customer journey and ecommerce metrics.
- Challenge distribution of stock to increase potential for incremental sales.
- Display an in-depth, customer-focused knowledge of premium lifestyle market and buying trends.
- Offer commercial views on all email and content output within the team.
- Work closely with Google Analytics to identify opportunities to maximize sales.
- Monitor site health to ensure no critical bugs impact sales.
- Experience of consumer ecommerce and areas of performance marketing.
- Technical understanding of ecommerce platforms on a global level (Salesforce Commerce Cloud would be beneficial).
- An understanding of a CRM system and analytics solution such as GA.
- Experience of understanding consumer experience in an ecommerce environment.
- Solid grasp of retail merchandising principles and supporting metrics.
