We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Executive to join our marketing team at Lets Recruit Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the SEO efforts for all our brands.
Your primary responsibility will be to create, implement, and optimise SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, drive traffic, and enhance overall digital performance. This will involve regular blog posting, backlink creation, domain name authority improvement, and actively managing our SEO budgets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and has a passion for SEO. You will be responsible for tracking SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, and providing detailed reports to the Group Head of Marketing on progress, insights, and next steps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Group Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Group's digital marketing, ensuring our SEO needs are met and exceeded.
- SEO Strategy Development: Create and execute data-driven SEO strategies that align with our goals, focusing on keyword research, on-page optimisation, off-page SEO, and technical SEO.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, and provide detailed reports to the Group Head of Marketing on progress, insights, and next steps.
- Content, Blogs, and Website SEO Optimisation: Work closely with the marketing team and web developers to ensure blog posts are published timely, and continually review, tweak, and change the group's websites to ensure ongoing SEO optimisation.
- Keyword & Competitor Research: Perform ongoing research to identify new opportunities to rank for relevant keywords and outperform competitors.
- Communication & Presentations: Regularly communicate with the Group Head of Marketing and Group Managing Director, providing updates on SEO performance and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Stay current with the latest SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and emerging digital marketing trends to ensure the effectiveness of all strategies.
- Regulatory Responsibility: Ensure any digital advertising or blog posts meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Control Spend and Budget: Ensure the group's SEO budgets are monitored and tweaked daily to ensure budget control and maximum reach.
- Results Focused: Take pride in delivering results on time, in full, and as agreed to boost the group's digital footprint and organic website growth.
- Multitasking Genius: Be able to handle multichannel delivery in a very fast-paced environment by being delivery date-focused, organised, and cool under pressure.
Requirements:
- Qualifications & Skills: Ideally hold Google certification in SEO, such as the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate or equivalent, or the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute or the CIM.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in an SEO-focused role, ideally within an agency environment, financial service setting, or estate agency.
- SEO Tools & Platforms: Strong understanding of SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Delivering Successful Campaigns: Experience in delivering successful SEO campaigns.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Content Creation: Ability to research trends and frequently asked questions to write, develop, and strategically post blogs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure content meets the exacting standards of the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic and willing to learn, ability to work effectively in a team environment, strong organisational and time-management skills, self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
Benefits: Salary of £25,000 to £30,000 DOE.
