Job Description

Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily creation of customer consignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and check all daily customer consignments on our in-house system, liaising directly with customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Ensure all consignments are correctly administered, rated, and ready to invoice, obtaining rates for new delivery points from our finance and reporting team.
  • Amend consignment details as required, communicating changes to relevant parties.
  • Produce reports (KPI and other) for customers and internal teams, utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Reconcile work on our system against schedules provided by customers, ensuring accurate charging and invoicing at week and period end.
  • Liaise with transport managers and other team members to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist the admin team leader and data analyst in providing daily/weekly information required by customers.
  • Provide up-to-date information to on-site teams regarding new stores, including risk assessments, rates, and system location code information.
  • Provide general administrative support to the admin team leader and team, and complete other tasks as required.
  • Escalate issues to the admin team leader where unable to resolve.
  • Complete daily Irish conference calls to agree on trailer requirements.
  • Manage Isotrak compliance to ensure all loads are tracking, and liaise with the planning team to resolve driver and job errors.
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure correct trailers are available to meet demand.
  • Complete daily yard checks to comply with safe and legal checks, raising defects to relevant teams.

Requirements:

  • Produce customer and internal KPIs within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all work is rated and charged accurately to customers weekly and monthly.
  • 100% accuracy in creation of customer consignments on our system.
  • Excellent numeracy, accuracy, and literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of flexibility, commitment, and motivation.
  • Able to use own initiative and work with limited supervision.
  • Capable of meeting specific deadlines and coping well in pressured situations.
  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with internal teams.
