Estates Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estates Manager to join our dedicated Estates & Facilities team to support in the day-to-day management of our extensive portfolio of over 200 properties nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of the Estates & Facilities Management strategy and action plan to deliver continuous improvement of estates and facilities across the organisation.
  • Support the proactive management of the portfolio to ensure we meet legal requirements, environmental and H&S standards.
  • Support the finance team on all rental, service charge, rates and insurance costs for budget creation and control.
  • Work with business leaders to understand ways of working and requirements.
  • Support the business in any new lease acquisitions, ensuring that we onboard properties that are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure that the correct maintenance regime is set out from the start to ensure we comply with lease covenants.
  • Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with stakeholders and supply chain.
  • Provide strategic and technical input to Marston Holdings asset management, refurbishment and new acquisition initiatives.
  • Support the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of an EFM project.
  • Ensure all written and electronic data entry, reports, records, letters, and other documentation are completed in an accurate, comprehensive, and timely manner and logged to the appropriate CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Strong numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Significant experience in a similar role managing properties across multiple sites.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
