Salary: circa £45k depending on experience

Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Director to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Division, you will be responsible for increasing the reach and impact of our profile to help meet our business targets for growth, retention, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to effectively communicate our brand's value proposition to key target prospects and markets.

  2. Embed sustainability, well-being, and design as core strategic components and capabilities of our agency.

  3. Support the sales team in providing highly responsive solutions across all touchpoints of the sales process, from initial communication to negotiating and signing contracts.

  4. Develop and maintain relevant sales and marketing materials to establish our organization as an expert and preferred business partner.

  5. Support the sales team in executing the completion and response to RFI's, RFPs, and tenders, as well as creating sales pitches and commercial proposals.

  6. Plan and implement direct marketing approaches, including targeting, personalization of messages, and measurability, data analysis, customer profiling, and segmentation.

  7. Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy using agreed digital tools.

  8. Drive the successful implementation and adoption of sales and marketing technology and automation platforms, as well as CRM database management.

  9. Develop and oversee a web strategy, including website development, SEO, blogs, content outreach, to keep our business website optimized and up-to-date.

  10. Work closely with external agencies and sales and marketing-related service providers to achieve sales and marketing goals and targets.

  11. Develop, maintain, and protect our company's brand, corporate image, and reputation, as well as protect and manage our intellectual property.

  12. Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of commercial direction, mission, aims, and activities.

  13. Maintain a full understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, attending industry events and conferences to network and develop new business leads for the sales team.

  14. Effectively measure and monitor marketing campaigns and report against agreed metrics.

  15. Provide regular reports against key performance indicators for all marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' B2B experience in a marketing management role.
  • Experience designing for a content management system (like the HubSpot CMS).
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, CANVA, or other similar programs.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and WordPress.

Points to Note:

Travel within the UK and internationally may be required in this role.
