Overview

Position: Passenger Services Representative

Compensation: £11.79 per hour, increasing to £12.01 upon successful completion of probation.

Work Location: Edinburgh Airport

Working Hours: Shifts may occur between 0230hrs and 0030hrs, including weekends and public holidays.

Shift Schedule: This role follows a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome passengers and offer courteous, professional support throughout their travel experience.
  • Assist with check-in processes, baggage handling, and boarding procedures.
  • Address inquiries and provide precise information regarding flight schedules, baggage regulations, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensure adherence to airline and airport standards, including security and safety measures.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
  • Resolve passenger issues and complaints promptly and effectively, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Conduct administrative duties, including data entry, documentation, and reporting as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage challenges effectively.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to meet client needs.
  • Must have a complete 5-year history of employment/education in the UK.
  • Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
  • Residency in the UK for a minimum of 5 years is necessary for consideration.
  • Two forms of proof of address are required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing passenger information and documentation is essential.
