Overview

Position: Passenger Service Representative

Compensation: £11.79 per hour, increasing to £12.01 upon successful completion of probation.

Work Location: Edinburgh Airport

Working Hours: Shifts may vary between 0230hrs and 0030hrs, including weekends and public holidays.

Shift Schedule: This role follows a 4 on and 4 off shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome passengers with a warm and professional demeanor throughout their travel experience.
  • Assist travelers with check-in processes, baggage management, and boarding procedures.
  • Address inquiries and deliver precise information regarding flight timings, baggage regulations, and other pertinent details.
  • Adhere to airline and airport standards, including safety and security measures.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
  • Resolve passenger issues and complaints promptly, showcasing empathy and understanding.
  • Carry out administrative duties, including data entry, documentation, and reporting as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar fields is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively resolve issues under pressure and adapt to client needs.
  • A full 5-year history of employment/unemployment/education in the UK is required.
  • Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK is necessary.
  • Residency in the UK for a minimum of 5 years is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Two forms of proof of address are required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing passenger information and documentation is essential.
