At The English Heritage Trust, we are dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of England, from ancient landmarks to significant historical sites.

We are seeking a Hospitality Team Leader to become a vital part of our organization on a permanent, full-time basis, working 36 hours per week in a dynamic seven-day operation.

Salary starting from £26,228, based on qualifications, experience, and location

  • 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays pro rata, increasing to 28 days after three years

  • As a member of the management team, you will guide, mentor, and develop the staff to uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, safety, and customer service. Your focus will be on enhancing team capabilities, driving performance to ensure an exceptional visitor experience, while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Additionally, as part of our charitable mission to bring history to life, you will be encouraged to share your insights, inspire others, and contribute to the way England's heritage is experienced.

In your role as Hospitality Team Leader, you will oversee the team in delivering outstanding visitor experiences, achieving set objectives, and ensuring compliance with health and hygiene regulations.

You will assist in the daily management of catering operations.

You will adhere to all financial protocols and assist in the accurate monitoring of stock and sales transactions through Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) systems.

Experience in a customer-facing role within a visitor attraction or hospitality setting

  • Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, allergen, and labeling regulations
  • Certification in Level 2 Food Hygiene
