Technical Support Specialist - Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Job Type: Full Time

At Chessington World of Adventures Resort, we believe that every role contributes to the magic of our attractions. We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic Technology team. This position offers a blend of office-based work and flexible arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge and technical expertise regarding all Chessington attractions and facilities.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of all IT systems and services utilized within the organization.
  • Ensure that technical documentation is consistently updated and relevant.
  • Deliver exceptional IT support and service to all staff members.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere among technical staff to enhance team operations.
  • Utilize the Global Service Desk as the primary contact point for all IT-related requests and incidents.
  • Serve as an escalation point for significant incidents.
  • Assist in the coordination and resolution of major technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT department to enhance the IT services provided to the organization.
  • Advocate for continuous service improvement to elevate quality and user satisfaction within IT operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established operational level agreements (OLAs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee the acceptance of new systems and services into production.
  • Adhere to company IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide support at various locations as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in desktop, hardware, and application support.
  • Strong knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS).
  • Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Familiarity with Service Now.
  • Understanding of escalation procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in clearly articulating technical situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in ticket management.
  • Willingness to travel between various sites as required.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
